Highlight of the Year, the Ahr Valley Peak Festival

A special highlight of the year 2006 is the first Ahr Valley Peak Festival under the motto
"4 Days – 4 Peaks". Four spectacular Ahr Valley peaks, St. Martins Hütte (Martinsnück) in Altenahr, the Dernauer Krausberg, the Neuenahrer Berg and the Landskrone, are the central contact points for hikers and Nordic walkers from all over Germany.
Whether one conquers all four peaks in on day or enjoys them for four days is up to you. A peak-book gives you suggestions for hiking trails and Nordic walking ways; there guided hiking tours and accompanied Nordic walking, great actions on the peak and you will be awarded with beautiful views from the peaks over the Eifel, the Ahr and Rhine Valley.
The first Ahr Valley Peak Festival is a hot tip for all hikers and Nordic walking friends. Whether for one day, two days or all fiur days this event is a great idea, a deserving destination and in this form unique in Germany.
Look forward to four days and four peaks!
